Michael "Air" Jordan donated $2 million to assist in the hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina. Jordan, who owns the Charlotte Hornets NBA team, said that this tragedy really hits home. His dad is from North Carolina, he played college basketball in North Carolina, and he still has a lot of family members who still live in the damaged areas of North Carolina. Jordan also said that he plans to visit the hit areas once the roads are safe enough to travel.
